This Chinese silver plate tobacco box, circa 1925, is a fine quality piece signed and dated 1925. Profusely cast and decorated with bamboo and stylised Chinese text, it shows slight losses to the plate and separation of the back panel — honest signs of age in this characterful Art Deco period box.
