This Victorian brass coal scuttle, circa 1890, is a handsome piece of 19th century metalware with decorative cast lion brass masks supporting the wood and brass handle. Standing on three paw feet, it shows minor expected surface marks, while the handle retains some flexibility but remains fine to use. A good quality example with real character.
