Description

This Swedish tilt top table, circa 1860, is a good quality piece of mid 19th century Gustavian furniture. Its near square top is veneered in alder root and stands on a stained turned birch tripod base with pad feet. The table shows a rich colour and patina, with expected natural shrinkage and slight warping to the top surface.

GOOD RICH COLOUR AND PATINA.

EXPECTED NATURAL SHRINKAGE AND SLIGHT WARPING TO TOP SURFACE. WHEN TILTED THE TOP SURFACE DOES NOT STAND VERTICAL, THIS COULD BE CORRECTED WITH ADDITIONAL CATCHES, WHICH COULD BE DONE UPON REQUEST.
