Description

This Sheraton Revival cabinet, circa 1895, is a graceful piece of satinwood with serpentine fronted doors, hand painted plaques depicting floral still life and scenes of romance, and further painted flowers and swags across the top. Standing on four sabre legs, it shows only minor expected surface marks and brings gentle period character to a hallway or living space.

STUNNING 2 DOOR SERPENTINE FRONTED CABINET STANDING ON 4 TAPERED LEGS. HAND PAINTED 4 PLAQUES TO THE FRONT DEPICTING A FLORAL STILL LIFE AND SCENES OF ROMANCE ON THE DOORS, AND VARIOUS PAINTED FLOWERS AND SWAGS. THE TOP IS PAINTED WITH A CHERUB SCENE AND COMPLIMENTARY FLOWERS AND SWAGS.
