Description

A fine Regency chiffonier in rosewood, circa 1820, with a brass gallery to the top shelf and brass column supports beneath. The front and legs are decorated with inlaid brass designs, while the double door, lined with pleated silk, opens to reveal two fitted shelves. Standing on scrolled front legs and tapering rear legs, it shows expected minor surface marks and slight rippling to the veneer on the back boards, with good colour throughout.
