Description

This 19th century Italian Sorrento occasional table, circa 1890, is profusely inlaid in walnut with an octagonal top featuring a central female figure in traditional dress, framed by a symmetrical design and stringing border. The turned and inlaid stem links to four bracket legs with a finial below. Showing minor surface marks and shrinkage consistent with age, it remains ready for everyday use.
