Description

This Swedish occasional table, circa 1870, is crafted in burr birch with a warm wheat colour and rich patina. The oval top features an inlaid diamond to the centre, a gadrooned edge and a single drawer concealed within the moulded frieze, raised on a turned stem with three scrolling legs. With minor restoration to the top surface and recently re-polished in our workshop, it is ready for everyday use.

GOOD QUALITY SWEDISH BURR BIRCH CENTER TABLE THAT COULD BE USED FOR MULTIPLE PURPOSES AROUND THE HOME. OVAL SHAPE WITH INLAID DIAMOND SHAPE TO THE CENTER, SURROUNDED BY BURR BIRCH AND A GADROONED EDGE. SINGLE DRAWER TO THE FRONT WHICH IS CONCEALED AROUND THE MOULDED FREIZE. RAISED ON A TURNED STEM AND 3 SCROLLING LEGS.

MINOR RESTORATION TO WOODWORK TO TOP SURFACE, RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
