Description

This large Chinese hardwood centre table, circa 1880, is inset with a dark grey marble panel whose surface retains a fine natural patina. The square top is carved with scrolls beneath, linked to the four straight legs by shaped stretchers and finished with slightly scrolled feet. The richly polished woodwork shows expected surface marks consistent with its age.

GOOD QUALITY HARD WOOD CHINESE TABLE WITH A DARK GREY MARBLE PANEL INSET INTO THE TOP. MARBLE HAS A GREAT PATINA AND NATURAL FINISH TO THE SURFACE. SQUARE TOP WITH CARVED SCROLLS UNDERNEATH AND FURTHER SHAPED STRETCHERS THAT LINK TO THE LEGS.

STANDING ON 4 STRAIGHT LEGS WITH A SLIGHT SCROLLED FOOT. GOOD RICH POLISHED FINISH TO WOODWORK.
