Description

This fine quality French gilt mantle clock, circa 1890, is surmounted by a lady in traditional French dress leaning on an architectural window with shipbuilding tools. The enamel face bears Roman numerals, and the clock is further decorated with Sèvres plaques and roundels. There are two losses each side of the clock and one restoration to the top sphere; the pendulum will be the correct length when sold.
