19TH CENTURY BURR WALNUT CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1870.

GOOD QUALITY VICTORIAN INFLUENCED CHEST OF DRAWERS FROM SWEDEN. AS NORMAL WITH SCANDINAVIAN CHESTS THE DRAWERS, THEY ARE OPENED ON THE KEY AND NOT FITTED WITH HANDLES.

MADE IN WALNUT, FITTED WITH 4 DRAWERS EACH ADORNED WITH BURR WALNUT DRAWER FRONTS AND SOLID WOOD ESCUTHEON. CANTED CORNERS WITH APPLIED SCROLLING CARTOUCHE DECORATION, WHICH IS MIRRORED BY THE CARVED FRONT FEET. BLOCK FEET TO THE REAR.

RECENTLY RESTORED, RICH GOLDEN COLOUR. MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO TOP SURFACE, RESTORATION TO VENEER WORK.
