Description

This rustic Swedish two-part Baroque cupboard in stained pine dates to circa 1790. A genuine piece of Scandinavian country furniture, it has a shaped cornice above a double-door cupboard with fixed shelves, and a shaped lower section with a single door and shelf. Coloured like walnut and decorated with ebonised contrasting mouldings, it stands on flat bun feet. Expected surface marks, fading and non-structural age splits are present, but it remains in good original condition.
