Description

This 18th century Chinese painted low occasional table, circa 1780, is richly coloured in red lacquer over oriental hardwood, with distressed paint showing at least two shades and some areas of complete paint loss. Original in condition, with light scuffing and losses to the lacquer and woodwork, it retains a rustic charm and offers many practical uses, such as a side table for a tall lamp.
