Description

This Irish drop leaf dining table, crafted in mahogany around 1770, is a generous piece of Georgian character. The swing legs support the leaves to form a near circular top, while elegant cabriole legs with acanthus leaf detail stand on ball and claw feet. Retaining its colour and patina, it has a small area of old restoration to one leaf and minor surface marks in keeping with age, and has recently been re-polished in our workshop.
