Description

A Chippendale period Pembroke table in fine mahogany, dating to circa 1770. The shaped drop leaves open to reveal a flame mahogany top, while each end drawer carries a later brass swan neck handle. Standing on straight legs united by a stretcher with central roundel and terminating on brass castors, it shows surface marks to the top but remains in original condition.

SHAPED DROP LEAVES OPEN TO FOR A FLAME MAHOGANY TOP. DRAWER FITTED WITH LATER BRASS SWAN NECK HANDLE ON EACH END. STANDING ON 4 STRAIGHT LEGS UNITED BY STRETCHER WITH CENTRAL ROUNDEL.
