This 18th century carved Italian Rococo giltwood mirror, circa 1730, is a piece of superb quality in large proportions. The profusely carved frame has plenty of depth, with swags to the top and acanthus leaf surrounding the tapered mirror. In excellent condition for its age, it retains a later mirror plate, with minor losses to the gilt work and restorations to the carved elements.
