Description

This 17th century Welsh court cupboard, carved in oak and dating to circa 1680, is formed in two parts: the upper section with a central bank of drawers flanked by single door cupboards, the lower with three drawers above a double door cupboard containing a large shelf. The doors are held by latches, and the piece retains great original colour and patina, with restoration to the back legs and expected shrinkage to the back boards.
