Description

This fine quality Swedish occasional table, circa 1860, is veneered in burr birch with a central inlaid circular fan to the top, raised on a turned solid birch stem and three cabriole legs with pad feet. A tilting mechanism secured by a peg adds practical charm, while restorations to the stem for strengthening and slight natural warping speak honestly to its age and use.
