Description

This Scandinavian Art Deco cabinet, made in Sweden circa 1940 during the transition from Art Deco to Swedish Modern, pairs dark-stained birch with golden elm doors embellished with inlay, stringing and turned brass handles. Behind its double doors lie two drawers and shelving divided by a central partition, with working locks and key. Recently fully restored in our workshop and hand re-polished, it retains its original colour and is ready for everyday use.

BEAUTIFUL QUALITY SWEDISH MADE CABINET WHICH WAS MADE DURING THE TRANSITION FROM ART DECO TO SWEDISH MODERN. MADE USING CONTRASTING TIMBERS AND COLOURS. TOP, SIDES AND FEET MADE IN BIRCH WHICH HAS BEEN STAINED DARK WHICH COMPLEMENTS THE GOLDEN ELM DOORS, WHICH HAVE BEEN EMBELLISHED WITH INLAY AND STRINGING AND TURNED BRASS HANDLES.

WORKING LOCKS AND KEY ALLOWS ACCESS TO THE DOUBLE DOOR INTERIOR. FITTED WITH 2 DRAWERS AND 2 SHELVES TO THE RIGHT, AND 2 SHELVES TO THE LEFT, DIVIDED BY A CENTRAL PARTITION.

RECENTLY FULLY RESTORED IN OUR WORKSHOP, MAINTAINING THE ORIGINAL COLOUR AND RE-POLISHED BY HAND. STUNNING PIECE AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
