This handmade Swedish woven basket, circa 1890, is a fine example of rural Scandinavian craft work. Built on a pine frame with hand woven base and sides, it shows the honest character of 19th century rustic woodwork. There are few expected minor losses to the weave, but the basket remains strong and stable, ready for everyday use.
