Description

This ornate French pedestal table, circa 1930, is very much in the rococo taste, crafted in chiselled brass with a square onyx top. Cast acanthus leaves and swags sit beneath the top, while four tubular cabriole legs are linked by an ornate stretcher finished with an onyx finial and scrolled back feet. The brass retains its patina, though it could be cleaned to a higher shine.

VERY MUCH IN THE ROCOCO TASTE ORNATE FRENCH PEDESTAL TABLE FEATURING AN OYNX SQUARE TOP. CAST ACANTHUS LEAVES AND SWAGS BELOW THE TOP SURFACE, STANDING ON 4 TUBULAR CABRIOLE LEGS WHICH ARE FURTHER LINKED BY AN ORNATE STRETCHER WITH AN OYNX FINIAL. TERMINATING ON SCROLLED BACK FEET.

SOLD WITH A PATINA TO THE BRASS, BUT COULD ALSO BE CLEANED UP TO A HIGHER SHINE.
