Description

This Swedish chest of drawers, crafted in birch around 1950, is a good quality mid century piece with a subtle Art Deco influence. The rectangular top has rounded front edges above three drawers of equal proportion, the middle one beautifully inlaid with cornucopia and swags in various woods, and chromed ring handles to the top and bottom drawers. Standing on four tapered legs with working locks and key, it has recently been re-polished by hand in our workshop, retaining its rich golden colour, and is ready for everyday use.
