Description

This Swedish console table, circa 1880, is a good quality Empire revival piece in burr birch. The slightly over-sailing top is veneered in matched burr birch, with scrolled legs to the front and straight legs to the rear so it sits neatly against a wall, all resting on an ebonised plinth base that contrasts with the golden colour of the timber. Recently re-polished in our workshop, it is in overall very good condition and would sit happily in a hallway or indeed most rooms of the home.
