Description

This 19th century circular birch tilting occasional table, circa 1890, is a good quality and practical piece in the Empire style. The top is veneered in tiger birch and tilts, locking into place with a peg, while the turned stem and three cabriole legs end in carved paw feet. Showing only very minor surface marks, it has a rich golden colour and is ready for everyday use.

CIRCULAR TOP VENEERED WITH A TIGER BIRCH TIMBER. TILTING TOP WHICH IS LOCKED INTO PLACE BY A PEG. RAISED ON A TURNED STEM AND 3 CABRIOLE LEGS, TERMINATING ON A CARVED PAW FOOT.

VERY MINOR SURFACE MARKS, RICH GOLDEN COLOUR AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
