Description

This Swedish mid century chest of drawers by SMF Bodafors, circa 1950, is finished in light walnut and fitted with four graduating drawers in a 2 over 2 layout, complete with original brass ring handles. Stringing detail adorns the top surface and top drawers, and the piece stands on tapered legs bearing the maker's stamp. Recently re-polished in our workshop, it shows some surface fading to the top.

GOOD QUALITY CHEST OF DRAWERS FINISHED IN LIGHT WALNUT. FITTED WITH 4 GRADUATING DRAWERS IN A 2 OVER 2 LAYOUT, COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL BRASS RING HANDLES. STRINGING DETAIL TO THE TOP SURFACE AND TOP DRAWERS.

PRODUCED BY SMF BODAFORS WITH THE MAKERS STAMP ON THE BACK. STANDING ON TAPERED LEGS.
