This pair of early 20th century stone garden lion pedestals, circa 1920, carries real architectural presence. Each heavy stone lion is designed to support a low garden bench with the addition of some woodwork, though they would work equally well as pedestals for pots. Some fading to the applied white wash adds gentle character.
