Description

This handsome French chest of drawers, circa 1870, is beautifully veneered in palisander from the rosewood family, with striking matched veneers throughout. Grand in proportion, it offers four equal drawers with beaded edges, original ring handles and ornate key plates, a shaped apron and carved feet. A later simulated marble top completes the piece; there are minor surface marks consistent with age.
