Description

This 20th century gilt wall clock by the well known Swedish maker Westerstrand shows Rococo influence in its carved swags, columns, finials and half starburst. Fitted with a twin train 8 day movement and original pendulum, it has an enamel face with Arabic numerals and ornate pierced hands. Dating to circa 1950, it displays minor losses to the gilt work, and we recommend servicing for accurate time keeping.

FITTED WITH A TWIN TRAIN 8 DAY MOVEMENT AND ORIGINAL PENDULUM. ENAMEL CLOCK FACE WITH ARABIC NUMERALS AND ORNATE PIERCED HANDS, CARVED SWAGS MOUNTED TO TOP OF CLOCK FACE, CARVED COLUMNS AND A HALF STARBURST, WITH FURTHER FINIALS AND CARVED DECORATION.

MINOR LOSSES TO GILT WORK. WE RECOMMEND THIS PIECE IS SERVICED FOR ACCURATE TIME KEEPING.
