Description

This carved mahogany pedestal stand, circa 1920, is a good quality piece in the Empire style. The shaped top sits above a turned and carved stem, supported on three cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf detail and finishing on pad feet. There is minor surface fading to the top from use, and it would sit beautifully in a hallway or entrance, ideal for a vase of flowers.
