This 19th century carved oak Black Forest fire screen, dating to circa 1880, is a beautifully worked Victorian example of the genre, with foliage and scrolling carved branches surmounted by a carved bird and standing on a carved tripod base. The tapestry has been replaced, though the original remains underneath, and minor repairs are expected to the work.

REPLACED TAPESTRY IN THE SCREEN, BUT THE ORIGINAL IS UNDERNEATH, PLEASE SEE PICTURE.
