Description

This late 18th century George III leather fire bucket, circa 1780, is a good quality piece of Georgian decorative interest. Hand painted with an armorial and inscribed with the Order of the Garter motto, it shows honest losses to the paintwork and age splits to the leather, though it remains structurally sound, with a later 19th century leather handle.
