This mid 19th century painted Swedish water carrier, circa 1860, is a charming piece of Gustavian-era pine with cane work support structure. Retaining its original blue-green paint with some expected fading and rubbing, it bears a clear date of 1860 alongside other writing now too worn to read. Complete with its original stop and showing only minor old restorations to the woodwork, it offers real character and honesty.
