Description

This unusual set of rustic Swedish garden furniture, made from solid pine around 1960, comprises a horseshoe table and two matching benches. The three-plank table top rests on trestle ends shaped like a horseshoe, united by a pegged stretcher, while the benches share the same supports. The wood has taken on a desirable silvered appearance, with expected surface marks and shrinkage; joints have recently been checked and the set is structurally sound.
