Description

This early 19th century Welsh oak dresser and rack, from the Montgomeryshire region circa 1815, is a handsome two-part Georgian piece. The rack retains some original hooks alongside later replacements, while the base offers three drawers with original handles, turned front legs and a potboard shelf. With its original back boards, engraved date of 1815 in the drawer lining, lovely honest colour and patina, it shows expected age-related surface marks and minor restorations.
