Description

This early Victorian mahogany sofa table, circa 1840, is an excellent quality piece in solid mahogany. Freestanding with two deep drawers to the front and dummy drawers to the reverse, it is raised on turned columns linking to four scrolled legs with ornate brass feet and castors. Recently re-polished in our workshop, it shows only expected minor surface marks and fading from age, and is ready for everyday use.

EXCELLENT QUALITY SOLID MAHOGANY SOFA TABLE, FROM THE LATE WILLIAM IV/EARLY VICTORIAN PERIOD, THIS PIECE COULD ALSO FUNCTION AS AN OCCASIONAL DESK.

FREESTANDING WITH DUMMY DRAWERS ON THE REVERSE TO MIRROR THE FRONT. 2 DEEP DRAWERS TO THE FRONT, RAISED ON 4 TURNED COLUMNS WHICH LINK TO THE 4 SCROLLED LEGS, STANDING ON ORNATE BRASS FEET AND CASTORS.

EXPECTED MINOR SURFACE MARKS AND FADING FROM AGE, RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
