Description

This rare 18th century Chinese hardwood coffer chest, circa 1790, is presented in its original unrestored condition. Retaining its original handles and metalwork to the outer edges, the lid opens on ringed handles that are a little loose when closing. With expected losses, wear and structural age splits, it carries a wonderfully rustic character.
