This Victorian oak architectural cabinet bookcase, circa 1880, offers an unusual open design on a cabinet base. The top is decorated with an architectural pediment and carved edge, echoed on the adjustable shelves, while the double door cupboard is inlaid with walnut and satinwood depicting an urn and floral arrangement, finished with decorative brass hinges. Some minor surface staining and marks are present.

UNUSUAL OPEN BOOKCASE ON CABINET BASE. TOP DECORATED WITH ARCHITECTURAL PEDIMENT, FURTHER CARVED EDGE WHICH IS ECHOED ON THE EDGES OF THE 4 ADJUSTABLE SHELVES.

DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD INLAID WITH WALNUT AND SATINWOOD TO SHOW AN URN AND FLORAL ARRANGEMENT. DECORATIVE BRASS HINGES. INTERIOR OF 1 SHELF.
