SWEDISH LATE 19TH CENTURY CENTURY CARVED BIRCH SOFA CIRCA 1890.
GOOD QUALITY SOFA VERY MUCH IN THE BIEDERMEIER STYLE. ELEGANTLY FLOWING SHAPED BACK, WHICH LINKS DOWN TO THE SCROLLED ARMS. CARVED ACANTHUS LEAF DETAIL TO THE ARMS AND ALONG THE FRONT FRIEZE.
STANDING ON 4 PAD FOOT LEGS.
STRIPED UPHOLSTERY IN USEABLE CONDITION, SOME MINOR WEAR TO PIPING ON SEAT CUSHIONS.
