GEORGIAN LONGCASE CLOCK IN MAHOGANY CIRCA 1790. MOVEMENT MADE AND SIGNED BY THE WELL KNOWN MOVEMENT MAKER JOHN PURDEN OF LONDON. MOVEMENT WITH ROMAN AND ARABIC NUMERALS. MOVEMENT HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY SERVICED. HOOD WITH GLAZED DOOR FOR WINDING. COLUMNS TO THE HOOD AND RECESSED INTO THE CASE WITH BRASS MOUNTS.
RESTORATIONS AND SLIGHT WARPING TO BOTTOM OF CASE. SOME EXPECTED WEAR TO CLOCK FACE, REPLACED BACK BOARDS TO HOOD.
